Business Central support
Support scope, exclusions and response targets for the Boeksolutions apps for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including the Multi-Level Production BOM Editor.
1. How to reach us
Support runs by email: info@boeksolutions.nl. Please include the environment type, app version, Business Central country/region version, company name, the exact action and message, and the item or production BOM involved.
Step-by-step usage instructions live on the separate help page for the app. This page describes what support covers and how quickly we aim to respond.
2. What support covers
- Questions about how the app is intended to work.
- Suspected defects in the app, including validation or save behaviour that does not match the documentation.
- Installation and permission-set questions for the app itself.
- Compatibility questions about currently supported Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central online versions.
3. What support does not cover
- General Business Central administration, licensing or manufacturing consultancy.
- Data correction, data migration or rebuilding BOM structures on your behalf.
- Third-party extensions, custom code or per-tenant customisations, and any interaction between those and the app.
- Microsoft platform incidents, outages or Microsoft licensing issues.
- Training, process design or engineering approval of your BOM data.
4. Response targets
These are targets, not a service level agreement. They apply during Boeksolutions business days, measured in the Europe/Amsterdam time zone. Customers worldwide may submit requests at any time.
| Priority | Target first response |
|---|---|
| Critical | As soon as practicable, normally within 1 business day |
| High | Within 1 business day |
| Normal | Within 2 business days |
| Low | Within 5 business days |
5. Compatibility
The app targets currently supported Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central online versions with a Premium licence and Manufacturing enabled. On-premises deployments are not in scope. Business Central online receives Microsoft platform updates on Microsoft's own schedule; we track those updates and adjust the app where needed.
6. Patches and updates
- Fixes are shipped as new app versions through Microsoft AppSource.
- Confirmed defects that block normal use are prioritised over other work.
- We recommend installing a new version in a sandbox first and validating with representative data.
- Release notes describe what changed so you can scope your own regression testing.
7. Customer responsibilities
- Maintain a sandbox environment and test app updates there before production.
- Maintain and verify your own Business Central backups and restore process.
- Apply your normal change-control and engineering approval to BOM changes.
- Assign the app permission sets deliberately, so only intended users can edit structures.
8. Beta support
While the app is in free beta, support is provided on a best-effort basis. Beta versions are intended for evaluation in a sandbox with representative data. Use in production during beta is at your own risk and remains subject to your own change control.
9. End of support for major versions
When a major app version reaches end of support, we aim to give at least six months' notice. Shorter notice may be necessary for urgent security issues, legal requirements, or changes to the Microsoft Business Central platform that are outside our control.
10. Possible data-integrity issue
If you suspect that BOM data is incorrect or incomplete after using the app:
- Stop using the app in the affected environment and company.
- Do not attempt bulk corrections before the cause is understood.
- Record what you did, the exact messages shown, and the approximate date, time and time zone.
- Note the affected item, production BOM and version numbers.
- Email info@boeksolutions.nl with the priority marked as critical, and state whether the environment is sandbox or production.
- Check your own backup position, since restoring a Business Central environment is a customer-controlled action.
