Je sheetset, helder in beeld.
Bekijk pagina’s, tekeningen, PDF’s en
projectgegevens zonder AutoCAD. Vind wat je nodig
hebt terwijl je bronbestanden ongewijzigd blijven.
01 / AAN DE SLAGOpen je eerste sheetset
SheetSet Viewer is een zelfstandige Windows-app
waarmee je AutoCAD Sheet Set-bestanden
(.dst) en sheetset-XML bekijkt. AutoCAD
is niet nodig om de sheetsetstructuur en
eigenschappen te lezen.

Start SheetSet Viewer via het Windows Startmenu
of de bureaubladsnelkoppeling.

Klik op Open XML/DST of druk op
Ctrl + O en kies een
bestand. Je kunt een DST- of XML-bestand ook
naar het venster slepen.

Klap links de sheetset en subsets open.
Selecteer een onderdeel om rechts de pagina’s,
PDF’s en eigenschappen te bekijken.

Gebruik Herladen of
F5 wanneer het bronbestand door een
ander programma is gewijzigd.
Je bronbestand blijft ongewijzigd.
De Viewer leest de sheetset. Voor het bewerken en
opslaan van sheetsets gebruik je SheetSetEditor. Een
DWG die je vanuit de Viewer opent, wordt door het
gekoppelde externe programma behandeld.

juiste pagina
De boom links toont de sheetset, onderliggende
subsets en bladen. Klik op het pijltje bij een
onderdeel om het open of dicht te klappen. De
selectie bepaalt welke pagina’s en eigenschappen je
rechts ziet.
Op het tabblad Pagina’s bekijk je
onder meer bladnummer, titel, layout en de
verwijzing naar de tekening. Selecteer een pagina om
de eigenschappen daarvan te bekijken. Met de
scheidingsbalk tussen de panelen pas je hun grootte
aan.
Voorbeeld · een project bekijken
Open de sheetset van je project, klap de subset
Plattegronden open en selecteer
blad A-101. Controleer de titel
en layout en open vervolgens de DWG via de
bestandsnaam.
Wil je de boom bij het openen meteen uitgeklapt
zien? Zet dit aan onder
Extra → Opties → Weergave.
03 / EIGENSCHAPPENLees en kopieer
projectgegevens
Het eigenschappenpaneel toont de gegevens van de
geselecteerde sheetset, subset of pagina,
gegroepeerd per categorie. Ook beschikbare
aangepaste eigenschappen worden weergegeven.
Selecteer tekst in een eigenschapswaarde en kopieer
deze met Ctrl + C of via het
contextmenu. Dit is handig voor projectnummers,
bladnamen en bestandslocaties.
Waarden zijn alleen-lezen. Je kunt hier geen
bladnummers, titels, paden of aangepaste
eigenschappen aanpassen. Het paneel toon of verberg
je via
Extra → Opties → Weergave → Eigenschappenpaneel
tonen.
04 / DWG’S EN MAPPENOpen een tekening
of bestandslocatie

Zoek de gewenste pagina op het tabblad
Pagina’s.
-
Klik op de DWG-bestandsnaam om
de tekening in het standaardprogramma van
Windows te openen.

Klik op de mapknop naast de
bestandsnaam om de bijbehorende map in Verkenner
te openen.
De Viewer toont geen DWG-tekeningbeeld in het
venster. Voor het openen van een DWG is een geschikt
gekoppeld programma nodig, bijvoorbeeld AutoCAD of
een DWG-viewer. Relatieve tekeningpaden worden vanaf
de map van het oorspronkelijke sheetset-bestand
bepaald.
Bestand niet gevonden? Controleer
of de DWG nog op de opgegeven locatie staat en of
een netwerkshare bereikbaar is. De Viewer verplaatst
of herstelt geen bestanden en wijzigt geen
verwijzingen.
05 / PDF’S VINDENBekijk PDF’s bij je
selectie
Het tabblad PDF-map verzamelt PDF’s
in en rond de map van je selectie:

De geselecteerde map of de map van de gekoppelde
tekening.
- De submap
pdf van die map.
- De map
pdf één niveau hoger.
Klik op een PDF-bestandsnaam om die
in het standaardprogramma te openen. De mapknop
ernaast opent de locatie in Verkenner.
Een lijst van nabije PDF’s. De
Viewer doorzoekt niet alle projectsubmappen en
koppelt PDF’s niet op bladnummer. Controleer zelf of
je de juiste PDF opent.
Is de lijst leeg? Selecteer een andere pagina of map
en controleer de bestandslocatie en toegangsrechten.
PDF’s worden niet door de Viewer aangemaakt of
gepubliceerd.
06 / INSTELLINGENKies je taal en
weergave
Open Extra → Opties. Wijzigingen
worden direct toegepast en opgeslagen.

Thema: Licht, Boek of Donker
voor het appvenster.
-
Taal: Nederlands, Engels,
Duits, Frans, Spaans, Italiaans, Portugees,
Afrikaans, Fries of Klingon.

Weergave: toon of verberg het
eigenschappenpaneel en de rasterlijnen, en kies
of de sheetsetboom bij openen wordt uitgeklapt.
Deze handleiding is beschikbaar in Nederlands en
Engels. Met een Nederlandse appinstelling opent de
Nederlandse tekst; bij de andere talen opent de
Engelse tekst. Je wisselt bovenaan zelf van taal. De
lichte of donkere weergave van de handleiding volgt
je browser of systeem.
Open de handleiding via
Help → Handleiding, de knop in
Opties of F1, ook vanuit een
dialoogvenster. De handleiding werkt offline;
externe links hebben internet nodig. Zoeken kan met
Ctrl + F en afdrukken met
Ctrl + P.
07 / LICENTIE EN UPDATESBeheer je
installatie
Onder Extra → Opties zie je de
licentiestatus, de machine-ID, de appversie en de
status van de updatecontrole. Je kunt ook op de
licentie-indicator in het hoofdvenster klikken om de
licentiegegevens te openen.

Gebruik ID kopiëren wanneer je
de machine-ID nodig hebt.
-
Gebruik de persoonlijke link uit je aankoopmail
om je licentie voor deze computer te activeren
of te verplaatsen.
-
Open
Licentie activeren of wijzigen…
en voer de verkregen licentiesleutel in.
De eenmalige licentie geldt voor één actieve
computer. Een geldige permanente licentie werkt na
activering ook offline. Voor activering,
verplaatsing, aankoop en het ophalen van updates heb
je internet nodig. De licentie- of proefstatus in de
app geeft aan of je bestanden kunt openen.
De app controleert bij het starten op updates. Volg
de melding wanneer een nieuwe versie beschikbaar is.
Installatie vereist beheerdersrechten en is voor
alle Windows-gebruikers. Bij een oude installatie
voor één gebruiker (1.1.1 of eerder) verwijder je
die eerst via Windows Instellingen onder die
gebruiker. Instellingen, licentie en proefstatus
blijven bewaard.

als iets niet werkt
Heb ik AutoCAD nodig?
Niet voor het lezen van DST/XML en de
eigenschappen. Een DWG openen vereist wel een
daarvoor geschikt Windows-programma.
Waarom kan ik niets wijzigen?
SheetSet Viewer is alleen-lezen. Gebruik
SheetSetEditor als je de sheetset wilt bewerken.
Het bestand opent niet. Wat kan ik controleren?
Controleer of het een geldig DST- of
sheetset-XML-bestand is, of je toegang hebt tot
de locatie en of je licentie of proefperiode
actief is. Probeer zo nodig een lokale kopie.
Niet ieder XML-bestand bevat sheetsetgegevens.
De tekening of PDF opent niet.
Controleer of het bestand bestaat, of de
netwerklocatie bereikbaar is en of Windows een
standaardprogramma voor dat bestandstype heeft.
De Viewer heeft geen ingebouwde DWG- of
PDF-renderer.
Ik zie wijzigingen van een collega niet.
Gebruik Herladen (F5) nadat de wijziging in het
andere programma is opgeslagen. Controleer of je
hetzelfde sheetset-bestand hebt geopend.
De handleiding opent niet via F1.
Controleer of een standaardbrowser is ingesteld.
Herstel of herinstalleer de app via de officiële
installer wanneer Resources/Help.html ontbreekt.

01 / GETTING STARTEDOpen your first
sheet set
SheetSet Viewer is a standalone Windows app for
viewing AutoCAD Sheet Set files (.dst)
and sheet set XML. You do not need AutoCAD to read
the sheet set structure and properties.

Start SheetSet Viewer from the Windows Start
menu or desktop shortcut.
-
Click Open XML/DST or press
Ctrl + O and choose a
file. You can also drop a DST or XML file onto
the window.

Expand the sheet set and subsets on the left.
Select an item to see its pages, PDFs and
properties on the right.
-
Use Reload or
F5 after another program has changed
the source file.
Your source file stays unchanged.
The Viewer reads the sheet set. Use SheetSetEditor
to edit and save sheet sets. A DWG opened from the
Viewer is handled by the associated external
program.

sheet
The tree on the left shows the sheet set, its
subsets and sheets. Click the arrow beside an item
to expand or collapse it. Your selection determines
the pages and properties shown on the right.
The Pages tab shows information
such as sheet number, title, layout and drawing
reference. Select a page to inspect its properties.
Drag the divider between panels to adjust their
size.
Example · reviewing a project
Open your project’s sheet set, expand the
Floor plans subset and select
sheet A-101. Check its title
and layout, then click the DWG filename to open
the drawing.
To expand the tree automatically when opening a
file, enable the option under
Tools → Options → Viewing.
03 / PROPERTIESRead and copy project
information
The properties panel shows information for the
selected sheet set, subset or page, grouped by
category. Available custom properties are included.
Select text in a property value and copy it with
Ctrl + C or the context menu.
This is useful for project numbers, sheet names and
file locations.
Values are read-only. Sheet numbers, titles, paths
and custom properties cannot be edited here. Show or
hide the panel under
Tools → Options → Viewing → Show properties
panel.
04 / DWGS AND FOLDERSOpen a drawing or
file location
-
Find the page you need on the
Pages tab.
-
Click its DWG filename to open
the drawing in the default Windows application.
-
Click the folder button beside
the filename to open its folder in File
Explorer.
The Viewer does not display a DWG preview inside its
window. Opening a DWG requires an associated
application, such as AutoCAD or a DWG viewer.
Relative drawing paths are resolved from the
original sheet set file’s folder.
File not found? Check that the DWG
still exists at the referenced location and that any
network share is reachable. The Viewer does not move
or repair files or change references.
05 / FINDING PDFSBrowse PDFs near your
selection
The PDF folder tab collects PDFs in
and around the folder for your selection:

The selected folder or the linked drawing’s
folder.
-
The
pdf subfolder within that
folder.
-
The
pdf folder one level above.
Click a PDF filename to open it in
the default application. The folder button beside it
opens its location in File Explorer.
A list of nearby PDFs. The Viewer
does not search every project subfolder or match
PDFs by sheet number. Check that you are opening the
correct PDF.
Is the list empty? Select another page or folder and
check the file location and access permissions. The
Viewer does not create or publish PDFs.
06 / SETTINGSChoose your language and
appearance
Open Tools → Options. Changes are
applied and saved immediately.

Theme: Light, Book or Dark for
the app window.
-
Language: Dutch, English,
German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese,
Afrikaans, Frisian or Klingon.
-
Viewing: show or hide the
properties panel and grid lines, and choose
whether to expand the tree when opening a sheet
set.
This guide is available in Dutch and English. A
Dutch app setting opens the Dutch guide; other app
languages open the English guide. Use the language
buttons at the top to switch. The guide’s light or
dark appearance follows your browser or system
preference.
Open the guide from
Help → User guide, the button in
Options or F1, including from a dialog.
The guide works offline; external links need
internet access. Find text with Ctrl +
F and print with Ctrl +
P.
07 / LICENSE AND UPDATESManage your
installation
Tools → Options shows the license
status, Machine ID, app version and update check
status. You can also click the license indicator in
the main window to open the license details.

Use Copy ID when you need the
Machine ID.
-
Use the personal link in your purchase email to
activate or move your license to this computer.
-
Open
Activate or change license… and
enter the license key you received.
The one-time license covers one active computer. A
valid permanent license also works offline after
activation. Activation, license moves, purchases and
downloading updates need internet access. The
license or trial status in the app indicates whether
you can open files.
The app checks for updates at startup. Follow the
prompt when a newer version is available.
Installation requires administrator rights and
installs for all Windows users. For an older
per-user installation (1.1.1 or earlier), first
uninstall that copy in Windows Settings while signed
in as that user. Settings, license and trial state
are retained.
08 / QUESTIONS AND SUPPORTGet help when
something goes wrong
Do I need AutoCAD?
Not for reading DST/XML and properties. Opening
a DWG does require a suitable Windows
application.
Why can’t I edit anything?
SheetSet Viewer is read-only. Use SheetSetEditor
to edit the sheet set.
My file will not open. What should I check?
Check that it is a valid DST or sheet set XML
file, that you can access its location and that
your license or trial is active. If needed, try
a local copy. Not every XML file contains sheet
set data.
A drawing or PDF will not open.
Check that the file exists, that the network
location is reachable and that Windows has a
default application for the file type. The
Viewer does not have a built-in DWG or PDF
renderer.
I cannot see a colleague’s changes.
Use Reload (F5) after the other program has
saved the changes. Check that you opened the
same sheet set file.
F1 does not open the guide.
Check that a default browser is configured.
Repair or reinstall the app using the official
installer if Resources/Help.html is missing.
